Following a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.
The big draw is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.
A regional fantasy map created using the CC3+ software platform.
The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.
Starting at thirty dollars, the comprehensive package includes all the following:
All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, but you can also select their donation amount in the right-hand section. There's also an donation allocation menu just below that, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
